Position: Kitchen Manager Part Time Weekends
About: Part-time Kitchen Manager position available at a facility working closely with the Food Service Manager to ensure kitchen and dining room operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include directing food services in compliance with regulations and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Position offers 22.5 hours per week on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with additional coverage benefits including paid lunch and PTO.
Requirements: Associate’s degree in food and nutrition or related field preferred; Two years’ work experience in a food service setting required; Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and sanitation laws; Serve Safe Certification within 1 month of employment; Experience in elderly food service setting preferred; 2-3 years supervisory experience; Professional cooking and knife handling skills; Ability to operate major kitchen equipment and implements; Strong communication and menu creation abilities; Organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and professionalism in stressful situations
