Position: Kitchen Manager Oakland Park
About: Flanigan’s, a restaurant chain known for its casual dining and sought-after bar experience, is seeking dedicated Kitchen Managers to join their team. As a Kitchen Manager, you will lead the back-of-house team in various kitchen duties, ensuring efficiency and high standards of operation.
Requirements: Must have current food management certification; must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality; must have flexibility for scheduling as the restaurant operates 365 days per year; must be willing to transfer to different geographical locations; able to work a 5-day workweek averaging 50-55 hours; vacations scheduled between April and November only; must understand and comply with Florida State health code standards; must be adept at ordering and formulating pars; must issue written evaluations for performances; must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell; must be able to read and write English; requires the ability to stand and move about for up to 4 hours at a moderate pace; able to lift up to 50 lbs; must have coordination to operate kitchen equipment; must adhere to kitchen policies for dress and grooming; must be proficient at all kitchen stations including expo
