Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: HalfSmoke is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen functions and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food purchasing, preparation, staff training, and adherence to cleanliness and safety regulations, contributing to the efficient operation of the restaurant.
Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter; unexpired food manager certification and/or health license; at least 3 years of experience in a kitchen supervisor role; clear communication skills with all levels of staff; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods; understanding of food costs, labor costs, inventory reporting, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and basic POS Systems.
