Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: Chuy’s, a restaurant based in Austin, Texas, is seeking experienced Kitchen Managers to join their team. The Kitchen Manager (KM) position involves overseeing a high-volume scratch kitchen, managing staffing, food inventory, costs, HACCP, food production, and cleanliness.
Requirements: At least 3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant in a scratch kitchen; Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees; Familiarity with a variety of kitchen equipment and its maintenance; Strong culinary knowledge and love of food; Ability to handle multiple tasks; Leadership and interpersonal skills; Attention to detail; Financial understanding of sales, costs of sales and labor; A willingness to run occasional front of house shifts is a plus
