Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: Zest Culinary Services, formerly known as MMI Dining Systems, at University of Tennessee Southern in Pulaski, TN is seeking a Kitchen Manager. This position manages back of house operations to include food preparation, foodservice, banquet/catering, and lounge service to maintain established operational standards and maximize the guest experience. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for creating a fun and innovative menu, managing food cost, inventory, and ensuring all sanitation procedures are followed.
Requirements: At least three years’ experience working as a manager or supervisor in institutional food service or a full-service restaurant; experience training both front of house and back of house team members; ensuring that the restaurant and kitchen meet cleanliness guidelines; understanding of budgeting and P&L statements.
