Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: Katella Deli is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join their team. The Kitchen Manager will oversee the Back of House staff and ensure the smooth operation of food preparation and kitchen activities at this high-volume, upscale establishment in California. Responsibilities include creating schedules, monitoring performance, addressing equipment issues, maintaining food quality standards, and conducting inventory.
Requirements: Passion for food with a minimum of two years’ experience in a high-volume, upscale kitchen; California Food Handlers card required; willingness to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; effective communication and team management skills; attention to detail with knowledge of kitchen procedures and inventory controls; experience in P&L review and budgetary controls; familiarity with CTUIT is a plus.
