Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: As the kitchen manager at SCAD – Savannah College of Art and Design, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food is consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. You will oversee inventory orders and deliveries to maintain food quality and manage food costs through standard recipes and waste control. Collaborating with the general manager, you will plan and price menu items, establish portion sizes, and prepare standard recipe cards for new menus. Additionally, you will create departmental rules, policies, and procedures for a safe work environment, administer corrective action, maintain equipment, prepare invoices, and schedule workers.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; at least three years of experience working in a kitchen
