Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: The Kitchen Manager position at a restaurant is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; associate degree in hospitality or related field preferred; valid driver’s license required; NRA ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications preferred; 2 years of previous restaurant management experience preferred; superior people management, communication, and listening skills required; self-motivated and detail-oriented; passion for the brand and teaching others; ability to grasp and incorporate new ideas; effective communication with team members, guests, vendors; time management and organizational skills; flexibility and adaptability to change; working knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling, sanitation, alcohol safety, security systems, computer operations preferred; flexibility to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed
