Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: This position is for a kitchen manager in a restaurant setting, responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation, and maintaining quality standards, as well as ensuring sanitation and cleanliness. The role involves training kitchen staff in cooking methods, plate presentation, portion control, cost control, and cleanliness practices to uphold the restaurant’s standards.
Requirements: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter; at least 6 months experience in a similar capacity; clear communication skills with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests; ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds; capability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
