Position: Kitchen Manager Hollywood
About: Flanigan’s is seeking Kitchen Managers to lead the BOH team in a dynamic kitchen environment. Kitchen Managers may need to work up to 30 miles from the restaurant location they are applying to. Responsibilities include communicating kitchen issues with management, attending meetings, enforcing policies, and ensuring quality control. Qualifications require current food management certification, ownership mentality, scheduling flexibility, and adherence to health code standards. The role involves physical requirements and proficiency in all kitchen stations, including expo. Must follow dress code policies and grooming standards at Flanigan’s.
Requirements: Must have current food management certification; Must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality; Must have flexibility for scheduling, as Flanigan’s operates 365 days per year; Must be willing to transfer to a different geographical location; Able to work a 5-day work week, 50-55 hours per week; Vacations scheduled between April and November only; Must be adept at ordering and formulating pars; Must understand, comply, and facilitate Florida State health code standards; Must adhere to Flanigan’s always hiring policy and conduct interviews in a timely fashion; Must issue written evaluations for performances; Must be physically able to stand, move about, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate kitchen equipment; Must adhere to Flanigan’s kitchen policies for dress and grooming; Must be proficient at all kitchen stations including expo
