Position: Jr. Sous Chef – Banquets

This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests. As a member of the Culinary Team, this position will prepare and present all menu items on menus. Will assist the Summit Chef de Cuisine in daily responsibilities to include ordering, line management, execution of menu items, and managing a staff of 10-20 employees daily. This person must be able to follow direction of the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Sous Chefs in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, taste, and production and follow the standards set in place as a manager at the hotel. Requirements: Associates degree (A.A) or at least three (3) years of related culinary experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds and will be working in conditions that are both inside and outside at times. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
