Position: Instructor, Culinary Arts – 9/10 Month (Term) – Southeast Campus
About: This is a full-time faculty position at Southeast Campus responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Culinary Arts in an equitable environment. The position involves teaching courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid, or web-enhanced delivery modes, collaborating with course leads and program coordinators, and remaining current in the teaching area through professional development activities.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or a closely related field required; three years’ experience in the culinary arts field preferred; industry certification in Culinary Arts and college-level teaching experience preferred; ability to teach a wide range of culinary courses from introductory to advanced; knowledge of instructional delivery modes, effective communication with diverse populations, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, commitment to equity and accessibility, understanding of community college mission and student needs
