Position: Industrial Technician – Norcross, GA

About: At Konecranes, a global leader in material handling solutions, which serves a broad range of customers across multiple industries, we are looking for an experienced Industrial Technician to join our team. Our service technicians are integral to our operations, providing excellent service in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations across the United States.

Requirements: High school diploma required; Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience. Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Some electronic experience is beneficial but not necessary. Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to work off the ground, work varied overtime, be available for ‘on call’ as part of the service office rotation, and be able to travel and work out of town on occasion. Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis, lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, and lift 100 lbs on a rare basis. This position involves frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching, and occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The role will be inside approximately 90% of the time and outside 10% of the time, with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and heights. This is a safety-sensitive position.
