Position: IN-ROOM DINING ASSISTANT

This job is on-site with a part-time FTE of 0.500000 (approximately 20 hours a week) for food service duties related to the service of hot and cold foods to customers, hospital patients, staff, and visitors. The position involves serving attractive and nutritious food to patients, practicing proper food safety techniques, and maintaining department quality standards. Responsibilities include meal tray delivery, tray assembly, sanitation, stocking, dishwashing, and overall department sanitation. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of previous food service experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; High School diploma or equivalent is preferred; Demonstrates good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills necessary to interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner; Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of tray assembly and delivery; Strong organization skills, and the ability to multi-task is required.
