Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples provide a nurturing family-like environment for approximately 8-12 students in on-campus student homes, ensuring a structured and supportive living environment for students from pre-K through 12th grade.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; Legal marriage for at least two years; Both spouses age 27 or older; No more than three dependent children in the student home; Smoke-free and weapon-free campus, no alcohol on duty; Limitations on pets, only fish and one approved breed dog allowed; Valid driver’s license; High school diploma or GED required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; High degree of integrity and role model behavior; Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
