Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private institution offering exceptional education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents. This unique role involves residing on campus, providing guidance and nurturing to students, and creating a family-like environment. Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; applicants must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses must be 27 years old or above; limit of three dependent children in the student home; adherence to campus regulations including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, no alcohol on duty, and limitations on pets; possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
