Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking dedicated couples to serve as Houseparents. These couples create a stable, nurturing environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds in on-campus homes, offering support in transportation, medication administration, budgeting, and more.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; must become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; both spouses must complete an individual employment application; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students
