Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. These couples provide a nurturing home environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met. Flex Houseparents work together in a unique career path that requires commitment, integrity, and teamwork while living on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students
