Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents. These couples provide a nurturing family-like environment for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds, guiding them in daily tasks and fostering a supportive community.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free environment; valid driver’s license, ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior for students; both spouses to complete individual employment applications.
