Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a prestigious private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated Houseparents to provide a supportive family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Houseparents work in pairs, managing groups of 8-12 students and ensuring their well-being while overseeing daily tasks and activities on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples with at least two years of legal marriage; both spouses age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; adherence to campus pet policy (fish and one approved breed dog only); complete individual employment applications for both spouses
