Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
About: Maintain cleanliness standards of the Hotel in all areas of the Hotel. Effectively manage Housekeeping staff to accomplish daily tasks of the Housekeeping operation. Act as liaison between the operating departments of the Hotel, Front office, Engineering and Housekeeping. Understanding operating goals of the hotel. Supervising guest room attendants, housemen and inspecting guest rooms. Responsible for supervising guest room attendants in their section, and housemen. Using a tablet to inspect rooms, create work orders, and guest requests. Inspecting all departing guest rooms up to standard.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age; Minimum 2-5 years of housekeeping supervisor experience; Minimum two years experience working as a room attendant in a hotel/resort; Knowledge of proper chemical handling; Strong attention to detail as it pertains to cleanliness standards; Must be able to use productivity app, hand held radio; Must be able to walk, stand, walk up and down stairs, push a housekeeping cart for up to 8 hours; Able to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer service; Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
