Position: Housekeeping Attendant-Part Time
About: To provide exceptional quality housekeeping services to enhance the overall guest experience by engaging with guests whenever one is in sight. Assure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and guest rooms and assist guest/colleagues whenever they are in need of help. To clean and maintain all public areas which includes all rest rooms, locker rooms, corridors, offices and food and beverage outlets, front door area. It is imperative that all areas be kept in impeccable condition to achieve Langham’s and Forbes standards.
Requirements: Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing from 40 up to 100 lbs.; Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces; Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, as well as guests; Knowledge of Forbes Standards and prior work in luxury property preferred; Ability in executing details of tasks consistently; Ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines; Basic ability to comprehend the English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests.
