Position: Hotel General Manager job
About: Sage Hospitality Group is set to hire a Hotel General Manager to join The Ann Savannah, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy, a lifestyle property completing its conversion to an Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy concept by early 2025. This unique opportunity allows shaping the creation of one of the first Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy properties in North America, offering guests the luxury of space of a hotel combined with the warmth of home in well-appointed upscale lifestyle boutique spaces complete with full kitchens, dining areas, and living rooms.
Requirements: A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience; Previous experience as General Manager, pre-opening/renovation experience preferred with comparable market experience to Savannah; Marriott and/or Extended-stay experience is a plus; Advanced knowledge of the hospitality and business management fields; Considerable working knowledge of other major areas and the skill to integrate and communicate information; Highly developed communication skills to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and corporate clients; Excellent speech and written skills; Vision ability to inspect the hotel; Mobility to walk through the hotel; Physically able to climb stairs and inspect all areas of the facility; Strong literacy skills for reports, policies, and procedures
