Position: Hospice Nurse LVN / RN) Weekend Runner
About: Brighton Hospice is seeking an LVN or RN to work as a weekend runner. This position will work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8pm-8am. At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, the goal is to change the expectation of hospice care by providing exceptional care and service to patients. They are a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) certified hospice, focusing on increasing staff to patient ratios for better clinical visits and lower caseloads.
Requirements: Current LVN/RN licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice; ability to work within a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership; proficiency in time management for visits, documentation, and meetings; experience working closely with patients on a 1-1 level and collaborating with a patient care team; skilled in communication through phone, email, and written correspondence; willingness to learn electronic medical records system; reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance
