Position: Health and Safety Instructor

Requirements: Proven experience in adult education or teaching with strong public speaking and presentation skills; excellent organizational abilities to develop and deliver structured lesson plans that meet educational objectives; in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to stay updated on industry standards and best practices; outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences; ability to foster a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging participation and understanding; passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting health and safety practices in a way that empowers participants to succeed; ability to travel across the state of Alaska 5-7 times per year, with trips lasting up to one week each, to support training sessions and project needs in various locations; HAZWOPER and OSHA Construction certification preferred, employer will provide training if necessary
