Position: Head Chef job
About: Head Chef needed for a Private 60-meter M/Y. Candidate must be drama free and please no inflated egos. Candidate must exhibit flexibility, strong attention to detail, work well within a team as well as independently. Candidate who enjoys keeping up with new cooking techniques, popular flavors, trending ingredients whilst weaving creativity within the galley. The ideal candidate will have proven longevity with previous programs. Must have proven provisioning connections worldwide. Excellent references both written and verbal required. Summer 2024: South Florida, Caribbean, Winter 2024/25: TBD Start Date: August 1st
Requirements: Skills and Attributes Required: Ability to cook a variety of foods and provide a varied menu for owner and guests; Competent in provisioning and monitoring stock and inventories; Exhibit a strong commitment to quality, whilst monitoring budget and waste; Excellent time management skills and organizational skills; Professional Presentation; Qualifications Required: STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD; Food and Hygiene Level 3; Ships Cook Certificate (preferred); Seafarers Medical Certificate; Valid B1B2 Visa; Non-Smoker/No Visible Tattoos
