Position: Guest Services Representative (Concierge)
About: The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Guest Services Representative to cover the Emergency Department under general supervision. This role focuses on providing high-quality customer service and support to patients, their families, visitors, and clinical team members within the Emergency Department. The representative will ensure patient comfort, facilitate transportation as needed, and maintain confidentiality while acting as a liaison between different parties in the department.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years directly related customer service work experience; or an associate’s degree and one year directly related customer service work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for related work experience. Must have the ability to read, write, follow verbal instructions, and possess computer experience. Ability to work 8-to-12-hour shifts, weekends, and staggered shifts.
