Position: Guest Service Agent-1
About: Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans is looking for a Guest Services Agent (GSA) to represent the hotel as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive guest experience. The GSA plays a critical role in front desk operations and serves as a liaison with guests during their stay, embodying the brand’s standards and values.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred; background in the extended stay industry is a plus; fluent in English with knowledge of other languages desirable; excellent verbal and written communication skills; basic math skills and familiarity with budgeting concepts preferred; strong problem-solving and organizational abilities; experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred; must obtain ServSafe and TIPS certifications; valid driver’s license required; ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and move about the facility for extended periods.
