Position: General Manager, Lobby Bar
About: The Shelborne by Proper is an iconic Miami beachfront hotel undergoing a holistic restoration and reopening in 2025. The renovation aims to preserve the hotel’s 1940 art deco distinction while modernizing its interiors. The hotel will introduce four new food & beverage destinations, including a signature restaurant, lobby bar-lounge, and curated cafe.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; 5+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; Proven experience in managing restaurant operations, including staffing, financial oversight, and guest service; Strong understanding of restaurant financials, cost control, and budgeting; Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and vendor relations
