Position: General Manager, Campus Dining
About: Vanderbilt Campus Dining is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the dining operations, ranging from medium to large-scale dining halls serving up to 2,500 meals a day. This position plays a crucial role in upholding quality dining experiences that exceed guest expectations while managing the unit’s annual budget and fostering positive relationships within the university community and beyond.
Requirements: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred; at least 5 years of management experience in food service management required; proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and POS System required; strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations required; strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills with attention to detail required; demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service required; ability to manage people and have accountability for assets required
