Position: GENERAL MANAGER AT JO’S COFFEE HOUSTON HEIGHTS
About: Bunkhouse, a company overseeing a portfolio of hotels and Jo’s Coffee locations, is seeking a Jo’s General Manager for their coffee shops in Houston, Texas. The role involves ensuring compliance with planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and menu execution aligned with the Jo’s brand values and standards.
Requirements: Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration or hospitality management; 5+ years in food and beverage operations; understanding of food cost, beverage cost, and labor cost; team management experience; financial acumen and experience managing P&L; excellent communication, relationship management, and consensus-building skills; excellent time management and prioritization ability; strong familiarity with coffee shop systems such as Aloha, Toast, Compeat, and POS systems; preferred knowledge of commissary/wholesale practices; knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
