Position: General Manager
About: Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education, and retail operations. Aramark partners with schools to create culinary experiences that propel students to success, aiming to provide healthy, nutritional meals with a stellar dining experience for the communities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree level education required in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, Business Management, or other field; 2 years of experience as a Director in a K-12 setting; ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and building and growing a strong business; savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff; comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues; meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment; proven ability leading through other managers; experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls, and analysis; experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
