Position: GENERAL MANAGER
About: The Country Inn & Suites, located at 5801 Read Blvd, is seeking a dedicated General Manager to join their team. The General Manager plays a vital role in ensuring hotel profitability by focusing on revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee development while upholding the hotel’s integrity.
Requirements: At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience. Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a courteous and service-oriented manner. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Ensure compliance with Expotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations. Play an active role in hotel sales efforts, including engaging with top accounts, hosting events, and meeting with on-site contacts regularly. Conduct daily department tours and weekly staff meetings with training sessions. Meet financial review dates and participate in the budget process. Develop managers for future growth through training programs.
