Position: Front Services Runner
About: Wind Creek Chicago Southland will be an entertainment enthusiast’s dream destination — providing Guests with an onsite hotel, dining, bars, an event facility and more. The first AAA Four Diamond Casino destination to Illinois and Northern Indiana, ideally located for all south Chicago suburbs. The unique gaming destination will include a luxury hotel with an indoor pool, fitness center and spa, a large capacity banquet facility, a state-of-the-art entertainment center, and tempting dining options—all designed to provide guests with world-class gaming experiences and the perfect escape. The casino will offer over 70,000 square feet of gaming space including 56 table games, over 1,400 state-of-the-art slot machines, a sportsbook, poker room, and more. Requirements: High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled; Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older; Good writing and verbal communication skills required; Must have the ability to safely operate automatic transmission vehicles; Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Must be able to complete a timed running test; Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license; Must be able to successfully pass a MVR check; Any DUI conviction within the last three (3) years will disqualify any applicant; Ability to safely operate a manual transmission vehicle preferred; Successfully meet the standards set by an interview panel regarding communication skills, guest services skills, and positive attitude; Must be able to stand, walk, or run for entire shift; Must be able to endure outside elements/conditions – heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.; Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment; Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test if administered; Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required; Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
