Position: Front Desk
About: Supervisor: General Manager. Guest Service Representatives are responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing outstanding service, settling guest accounts, and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Requirements: Possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to guests; Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor; Maintain the highest level of confidentiality; Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve; Handle and resolve guest complaints professionally and courteously; Demonstrate good communication skills and convey information effectively; Ability to perform basic math and understand financial information; Recognize and take action on safety or loss prevention incidences; Complete training in security, alcohol, health, and safety; Work with other departments to ensure room status is up-to-date; Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote marketing programs; Carry out front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, performing transactions, balancing reports, and more; Understand hotel policies related to various guest needs and requests; Responsible for key control and lost and found items processing; Basic knowledge of computer equipment, including Microsoft Office suite; Assist in training new staff; Participate in and support a positive work environment; Understand hotel products and services (e.g., food and beverage, recreation).
