Position: Food Services Operations Supervisor
About: Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the District-wide and central kitchen food service programs and operations. Assure compliance with federal, State, local, and District laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to District food service programs. Assign, review, and evaluate the work of assigned food service personnel.
Requirements: Associate’s degree with an emphasis in nutrition, food service management, or closely related field. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Four years supervisory experience in a school food service program or large institutional food service organization. Managerial experience in a school food service setting is strongly preferred. Must have a valid, accredited Food Safety Manager Certificate or equivalent. Personal transportation for job-related travel throughout the District. Proof of current California auto liability insurance.
