About: The Village, located at 527 Crocker Street in Los Angeles, CA 90013, is seeking a Food Services Manager to oversee the operation of the kitchen, kitchen staff, meal preparation, and delivery for The People Concern. This role is part of the management team and requires availability for all meal services, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
Requirements: Minimum of five years full-time experience managing large food operations and actively cooking daily; experience in scheduling and supervising staff; possession of a current, valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record; detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a diverse environment with minimal supervision; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer; Managers Level Certificate from ServeSafe or equivalent certification agency; undergraduate degree preferred
