Position: Food Service Worker III-Utah State Hospital

About: The Food Service Worker III works closely with both the department manager and kitchen staff to oversee quality meal preparation while having an active role in sanitation and safety in the food service department. This position will lead, coach and direct Food Service Workers to ensure that assigned area’s responsibilities are accomplished.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Current employee of the Utah State Hospital; Has ServSafe Certification; Basic knowledge of the principals of dietetics/nutrition and USH kitchen processes; Knowledge and experience in food preparation, sanitation, inventory rotation, large scale ordering, record keeping, safety, and deep-clean scheduling/tracking; Experience with safety guidelines using the kitchen equipment
