Position: Food Service Warehouse Manager
About: Nourish is seeking a Food Service Warehouse Manager at our commissary kitchen in Long Island City, New York. The Food Service Warehouse Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee the smooth and efficient operations of the warehouse and commissary facility, optimizing processes, ordering/procurement, creating SOPs, ensuring safety & compliance, and promoting a collaborative work environment. This role demands strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Nourish, founded in 2010 by Sodexo | Nourish, focuses on providing high-quality, organic, and sustainable food solutions. Each day, the team designs menus based on the highest quality seasonal, organic, and non-GMO ingredients.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; 3 years of basic management experience; 3 years of basic functional experience; strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics; proven leadership and team development abilities; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment; track record of driving operational efficiency and achieving targets; knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a commissary environment; strong organizational and time management skills; valid driver’s license required
