Position: Food Service Supervisor II
About: The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) in North Carolina is looking for a Food Services Supervisor II for their Haw River State Park kitchen. The DNCR aims to inspire citizens and visitors through conservation, recreation, and education, ensuring the preservation of natural beauty, ecological features, and cultural resources. The Food Services Supervisor II will oversee food preparation, dietary requests, staff management, and kitchen sanitation to uphold health code standards at the park.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, food management, culinary arts, or hospitality management; OR High school diploma or GED AND four years of supervisory experience in food preparation; Demonstrated experience with cooking equipment, food service employee management, food preparation, and menu management. Preferably, supervisory experience in high-volume food service establishments including planning, forecasting, ordering, and budgeting.
