Position: Food Service Manager
About: The Office of Food and Nutrition Services (OFNS) is committed to promoting healthy food choices among students in New York City schools, serving over 560,000 lunches, 190,000 breakfast meals, and various snacks and suppers daily. The Food Service Manager ensures high nutritional standards and quality meal choices while overseeing food service operations within a group of schools.
Requirements: A baccalaureate degree in nutrition, foods, dietetics, or a related field; or an associate degree with relevant experience; proficiency in managing restaurant or food service operations; preferred experience in managing food programs in multiple locations and strong communication skills
