About: Sodexo, a leading food service management company, is seeking a Food Service Manager 3 for the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves managing operations in a large residential dining hall on a progressive university campus, focusing on customer service, staff training, and service delivery.
Requirements: Basic education requirement of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; 2 years of basic management experience; 1 year of basic functional experience in food or culinary services; strong employee engagement leadership skills; previous supervisory experience; culinary production experience; strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills; familiarity with Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC); proficient in computer skills and report management
