Position: Food Service Director
About: Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Food Service Director position at Broward North Medical Center, a 409 bed facility located in Pompano Beach, FL. Reporting to a General Manager, the Food Service Director plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to food service, including Aramark Healthcare+ and client financial accountability, and compliance with the standards established by Aramark Healthcare+, regulatory agencies and client. Leads food service departments. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, residents, visitors and employees. Primary level of impact is within own operations.
Requirements: Requires Food Service Management experience; Requires Healthcare experience; Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Strong communication skills, financial acumen and Microsoft Office skills; Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships; Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark’s standard model; Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for all customers; Experience managing and engaging a large workforce
