Position: FOOD SERVICE ASST MGR – UNION
About: The Food Service Assistant Manager position is responsible for overseeing guest relations, department operations, and team support in a food service setting. The role involves assisting the Department Manager in maintaining a positive and efficient department environment while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older; High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary, Restaurant or Hospitality degree preferred; Minimum of 1 year in restaurant experience; Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and subordinates; Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve, and work independently; Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry items, work in varying temperature environments, and perform basic math and computer tasks; Certified Food Safety Manager certification required; Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
