Position: Food Prep/Pantry
About: A restaurant in need of a Kitchen Assistant to support the chefs in ingredient preparation, kitchen organization, and cooking tasks as per the daily menu.
Requirements: At least two years of kitchen experience in a similar position; Applicable knowledge of knives and knife skills; Working knowledge of kitchen equipment like slicing machines, juicers, Cryovac machines, and small wares equipment; Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation procedures; Ability to understand recipes and documentation; Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, lift up to 60 pounds, work in varying heat and noise levels, and handle high-pressure environments.
