Position: Food Fanatic Chef
About: The Food Fanatic Chef (FFC) plays a crucial role in customer consultation, relationship building, and innovative partnership initiatives at US Foods. They are responsible for developing meaningful relationships with customers, advancing the food culture of the organization, leading culinary training efforts, and contributing to the growth of Exclusive Brands. The FFC also actively participates in the Food Fanatics program, community events, and industry connections to promote the brand and engage with customers. This role involves collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing, as well as external interactions with chefs and other customers. The FFC works in a kitchen environment at Distribution Centers or customer locations and is dedicated to achieving excellence in culinary demonstration and customer service.
Requirements: Candidates must possess refined organizational and project management skills, at least 7 years of relevant work experience including a comprehensive culinary background, expert product knowledge and communication abilities across various formats, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and the ability to design and facilitate training programs effectively. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. Chef Certification and memberships in culinary organizations are a plus. Prior sales or sales support experience and experience in training program design are advantageous.
