Position: Flex Store Manager – CHEF’STORE (San Francisco Bay Area)
About: The company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to join their team. The role involves overseeing all store operations, managing staff, and ensuring a superior customer service experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, inventory control, staff recruitment and training, marketing strategies, and maintaining a safe and well-maintained store environment.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Wholesale Management, or Accounting/Finance strongly preferred. Minimum of five (5) years experience in a retail work environment required. Must have at least three (3) years of management/supervisory experience. Must possess strong planning and solid organizational skills. Must exhibit the strong desire and ability to deliver superior customer service and build professional relationships with the client base, maintaining a strong, consistent customer focus. Must possess the ability to think quickly and critically, make good business decisions, demonstrate good common sense, and think logically. Must maintain excellent leadership skills, be highly motivated and self-driven, and possess solid communication, conversational, and negotiation skills. Must maintain adaptability and willingness to offer fast, efficient, and professional service to customers. Must maintain strong business awareness and an ability to review and interpret financial data. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, late evenings, holidays, and/or weekends. Must exhibit competency and proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft programs.
