Position: Fine Dining Sous Chef
About: This position is for a Sous Chef at a high-volume fine dining restaurant located under the supervision of the Executive Chef. The role involves actively supervising, coaching, and training kitchen staff to ensure quality standards are met, maintaining a positive work environment, and overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations in line with the GILA WAY principles.
Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred in food preparation, management, nutrition, or related field; experience in professional culinary education or working in a high-volume fine dining restaurant preferred; expertise in volume feeding, fine dining, catering, and purchasing storage; valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings; ability to perform the GILA WAY principles effectively; strong guest service skills and interpersonal communication abilities; in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Policies and Procedures and relevant regulations required.
