Position: Fairway – Dishwasher (Village NYC) Salary Range $16.00 – $17.00/hr
About: Fairway Market is currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our Cafe team. The role is crucial in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring seamless operations in the kitchen and providing clean equipment for serving our guests.
Requirements: Current SERVSAFE certification; Proficiency with all equipment used; Ability to learn and understand new programs and applications as job functionality evolves; Extensive/extended standing and walking, bending, twisting and lifting; Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly and 50-pound objects occasionally; Must be able to work in refrigerated coolers and high moisture content preparation rooms for extended periods of time; Must be able to work in high-temperature kitchen preparation areas; Ability to work with all fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences; Must be able to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and chemical fumes from common household cleaning agents such as ammonia during routine housekeeping duties.
