Position: Executive Sous Chef – Morton Arboretum
About: Aramark, a leading global provider of food, facilities, and uniform services across various sectors including education, healthcare, business, government, and sports and leisure, is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef for the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. The Executive Sous Chef will oversee culinary staff, develop and execute culinary solutions to meet production standards, and ensure high-quality food presentation and service.
Requirements: Culinary degree or equivalent 4+ years of culinary experience in a management role; previous experience in high-volume special events culinary operations strongly preferred; advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices; effective client and customer rapport required; strong multitasking, organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods; availability to work event-based hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
